Kathryn Thomas has revealed she is constantly contacted by oddball retired men looking to make her their wife.
The Voice presenter admits she got a “couple of interesting offers” in the post while working on Winning Streak.
And the 35-year-old was a bit taken back to realise some of the creeps were in their 70s and 80s.
“I got a few interesting letters on Winning Streak from elderly gentlemen around the country, looking for a wife,” she told Goss.ie.

“I saw how much land they had and how big the cow shed was. So I got a couple of interesting offers, one or two that I actually considered. But then I realised they were 85.”
Recently, RTE newsreader Sharon Ni Bheolain has been put through hell after being stalked by two creeps – who targeted her by email and even told her what she could wear on TV.
And TV presenter Miriam O’Callaghan also admitted she was targeted in a similar way, with Lorraine Keane claiming all women in showbiz are stalked.

However Kathryn insists that because of the age of the retired men she thankfully wasn’t too worried.
“I haven’t had any negative experiences thank God, that would concern me. I always imagine it is scary and uncomfortable if that happens to me.”
