Ka-Ching! Conor McGregor buys every family member a new car

Conor McGregor has revealed that he has used some of his millions to give back to his family – paying off his mother’s mortgage and treating every family member to a new car.

The Dubliner promised himself that he would look after his family with the fortune he has worked for in his successful career as a UFC fighter.

“Where I’m from, when people make it and have success, there’s one thing on their mind. That’s family,” he said.

Family: Conor showed his family just how much he loves them

“When I came home from Las Vegas, I spoiled my family. I took every bill from my family. I paid for my mother’s mortgage. I gave everyone brand new cars,” he said.

“On the climb, I always visualised giving – giving to people around me – and what it would feel like to roll up one day and say, ‘That mortgage on the house is gone now, don’t worry about that’.”

“Those are the things I used to dream of – seeing their reaction. When I got back, I invited them up to my home and we sat down and we had dinner.”

“We talked about all these things and I took every bill off their hands. My whole family has retired young now,” he told the Irish Sun.

The UFC interim featherweight champion also made sure to give back to his trainer John Kavanagh, who has been by his side from the beginning of Conor’s career.

“John’s been around and helped me so much and I’ll never, ever stop being grateful for John’s help. So I came home and I helped John as well,” he added.

Conor’s next UFC bout will be the long-awaited title fight against Brazilian featherweight champion José Aldo in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on December 12.
