Jonny Sexton has welcomed his second child into the world, as his wife Laura gave birth to a little girl on Monday.
The childhood sweethearts are already parents to their 19-month-old son Luca, and have now brought how a little sister, reportedly named Amy, to join their growing family.
Irish kicking coach Richie Murphy revealed the baby’s arrival during a press conference yesterday evening by saying, “[He’s] very happy, obviously because his wife had a baby girl yesterday.”

According to the Irish Mirror, Jonny reportedly left the Ireland training camp to spend a couple hours with his wife and their little girl and returned to the camp on Monday evening.

The news comes after Jonny’s team mate Paul O’Connell announced his retirement from rugby yesterday.
