Jeremy McConnell is moving away from his former career in reality TV to focus on a new venture.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star has announced that he is not the UK director of Hair of Istanbul, a hair transplant clinic.
“I feel that I have worked hard to overcome all the difficulties I have faced over the last few years,” he told The Sun.
“I now feel I have an exciting opportunity for me and my family.”
A source told the publication: “Jeremy decided he needed a focus and stability following his recovery and upon trying to maintain security for his family.”
“He was brought up to be motivated and driven – he didn’t anticipate his life spiraling out of control with drugs and partying.”
Jeremy is now 18 months sober, after battling a damaging cocaine habit.
He is also expecting a child with his partner Katie McCreath.
