Jeremy McConnell branded ‘disgusting’ after fat-shaming women on Twitter

Jeremy McConnell has caused outrage once again – by fat-shaming women on Twitter.

Just weeks after he was found guilty of assaulting the mother of his child Stephanie Davis, the disgraced reality star told a woman that she needed to “hit a treadmill” – before insulting more women who rushed to her defence.

It all started when Jeremy posted a joke about the boxing match between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather – and some fans thought his comments were in poor taste, due to his recent conviction.

“You could give him some tips… No that’s right just woman you hit [sic],” a woman replied.

Jeremy quickly tweeted back, “Only thing you need to his is a treadmill.”

Many were outraged by Jeremy’s response, but he continued to rile his critics by insisting that he had “genuine concern for her” and that he “wouldn’t wanna see anything happen to my fans”.

“That is disgusting!!!!!!!!! #bully,” one person commented, to which Jeremy responded, “You get on the one beside her.”

When a follower posted a picture collage of a number of women who he accused of trolling Jeremy, he replied, “Gonna say a prayer for them tonight. God help them [sic].”

The news comes just weeks after Jeremy was handed 20 weeks in prison on a 12 month suspended sentence for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis.

When Jeremy returned to Dublin just hours after his court appearance, he was greeted by pals holding “Not Guilty” signs in Dublin Airport – before they enjoyed a boozy night out in The Wright Venue.
