James Kavanagh opens up about being ‘badly bullied’ during Late Late Show appearance

James Kavanagh revealed he was badly bullied in school during the Late Late Show.

The Snapchat star made his highly anticipated appearance on the show with Ryan Tubridy, alongside his brother John Kavanagh.

“It was really bad, I went to a school before i went to boaring school, I was there for 3 years I wasn’t out,” James explained.

“I wasn’t ready to come out, When I was in school you just here the F word being thrown around… you got elbows into your back, people would shout ‘gay’ at me.”

“When I went home I was really horrible to my parents in a way because I was getting really badly bullied in school.

“I had zero friends,” he explained.

Ryan added that he hoped kids and teenagers were watching the interview, to understand the affect bullying can have on someone’s life.

Meanwhile James also revealed on live TV how he was conceived.

Leaving the audience in stitches, James revealed his mum was dressed up as Edward Scissor Hands and his dad dressed up as Tina Turner, on the night he was conceived.

Ryan was quick to point out the differences between the MMA coach and the online star, while the pair themselves admitted most people don’t even know they are brothers.

James admitted that his family refer to him as a “blunder”, with his brother John saying the Snapchat star was a “mistake”.

“My conception, it obviously involves my parents. It involves Joe Duffy, it involves Tina Turner and Edward Scissors Hands,” he laughed.
