James Kavanagh has hit back at a Late Late Show viewer, who criticised him for “reinforcing gay stereotypes”.
The popular social media star was a guest on the show, hosted by Ryan Tubridy, and took part in a segment where he had to chose what to “throw in the bin” from the world, with his first choice being raisins.
While the Currabinny creator was on for a bit of fun, one viewer lashed out and said he was a “disgrace”.
“Are we all in agreement that self-proclaimed snapchat queen @jameskavanagh_ is a disgrace to gays, reinforcing stereotypes and setting the gay agenda back 100 years,” the user @driverliam wrote.
“Whis is she even on the show? we pay a license this is unforgivable #Shame on you #RTE.”
But James was quick to respond, calling out the user on his “gay agenda” comment specifically, James shared the tweet.
“Damn it! I hate when I accidentally set The Gay Agenda™ back 100 years. Sorry Liam, sorry gays,” James wrote on his Instagram page.
“I promise to make amends. By Monday it’s business as usual for The Gay Agenda™: turn everyone into glittery drag queens ✨(fave bit: THIS IS UNFORGIVABLE #SHAME ON YOU #RTE).”
