Love/Hate star Aoibhinn McGinnity is being head-hunted for the female lead in Coppers The Opera.
Writer Paul Howard wants Nidge’s wife when the rock opera opens on Irish stages.
He said: “I worked with Aoibhinn on Anglo The Musical. She is an amazing singer with an extraordinary voice.
“I think she would be great in what is essentially West Side Story on Harcourt Street.”
And Paul admitted he wants to get others from the RTE show – but only if they can hold a tune.
He said: “We’d love some more Love/Hate people if they could sing.”
