Forbes have released their annual YouTube rich list, and Irish YouTuber Jackscepticeye has made the Top 10.
The gamer, whose real name is Seán McLaughlin, has over 16 million subscribers – and Forbes has reported that he made a whopping $16 million from June 2017 to June 2018.
The site wrote: “Foulmouthed, energetic Seán McLoughlin is the most popular YouTuber in Ireland thanks to his colourful video-game commentary.”
“A few bad words haven’t kept him from going mainstream: He did a series for Disney and is developing exclusive content for live-streaming platform Twitch.”
Seán was the only Irish YouTuber who made the list, with most of his fellow vloggers being from the U.S.
Jackscepticeye landed at #8, alongside major YouTube stars including PewDiePie, Markiplier, Jeffree Star, and Jake Paul – with earnings ranging from €17M to €21.5M.
Once again, ‘Ryan Toysreview’, a channel which features a 7-year-old who reviews toys, landed at the top spot with earnings of €22 million.
