Irish singer Sia Babez lands spot in girl group on X Factor: The Band

The songstress was selected by Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger

Sia Babez has landed a spot in the girl group on X Factor: The Band.

The Irish/Zimbabwean singer, otherwise known as Seorsia Leagh Jack, wowed the judges earlier this week during her audition.

And during last night’s episode, Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Leona Lewis selected her to be in a girl band alongside Kellimarie Willis, 17, Jess Folley, 16, Luena Martinez, 20, Virgina Hampson, 17 and Halle Williams, 19.

Seorsia was relieved when she made the group, as she struggled with her vocals due to illness during last night’s episode.

Check out her arena audition below:

Simon Cowell is hoping to find the UK’s next big group on The X Factor: The Band, who will follow in the footsteps of other successful bands created by the show – including Little Mix and One Direction.

The new series saw hopefuls audition for Simon and fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger in his office at Sony HQ in London, before moving on to arena auditions in Birmingham – where a boy band and a girl band were created by the judges.

The two bands will then go head-to-head in the live final this Saturday, in hopes of winning a record contract.
