Jackie Lavin rules out reality TV show with partner Bill Cullen – and vows to never air her financial woes on TV.
The former Apprentice stars have had a rough few years financially after losing control of their five star luxury hotel in Co. Kerry and losing out on their Renault car dealership.
The business woman is back on our screens tonight starring in TV3’s The Restaurant, however Jackie revealed she will never resort to reality TV to make some extra cash.
“There’s no chance of the Bill and Jackie show” the star admitted. “We have been offered things but they didn’t interest us to be honest…a lot of reality shows.”

“But I hate that. I don’t know how people do that, it’s awful stuff and it’s voyeuristic as well. I wouldn’t dream of doing anything like that,” she told Mirror.
However Jackie was happy to take part in The Restaurant, as she doesn’t mind taking part in shows that don’t focus on her personal life.
“The reason we liked The Apprentice is because it was business orientated, so anything like that…but no, never TV just for the sake of it” she said.
Jackie, 66, insisted that while the famous pair may have fallen on hard times, they will be back on top soon soon enough.

“Selling cars is what we do best and that’s why our business always was in that. Of course I had the hotel as well but that’s gone” she said.
“We’re just starting again, we’re starting from scratch. We’re going to try and be a success again in the business that we know best.”
“We’ve had a reasonably good year, it is a big leap from where we were the year before when all our business were taken” the star admits.
Jackie will star in The Restaurant on TV3 tonight at 9pm
