Hozier has been moved to tears (Well, the crying emoji…) by this kind gesture from a member of the Aer Lingus cabin crew.
The Wicklow man has been busy recording a new album and his most recent flight home gave him something to sing about! The Irish are known for their hospitality and travelling for work can be a nuisance, so when a member of cabin crew gave him “a mammy portion” on his flight home he was moved to tweet his gratitude.
“Shout to the @AerLingus crew who gave me “a mammy portion” of dinner on my recent flight home,” he exclaimed, tagging the company in the hope that the kind member of staff ould be commended.

The artist won’t rush his new album despite some fans’ impatience.
He told fans in December, “Hang in there, it’s on the way.”
Repeatedly promising it’s on the way has us hungry for it but if it’s as impressive as his self-titled 2014 album, it will definitely be worth the wait!
Spent some time in @CRCstudios last week cooking up something secret I’m very excited about. pic.twitter.com/2GVNw85dwV
