Here’s who we think should appear on Dancing With The Stars this season

After the news that Amanda Byram has left Dancing With The Stars we’ve all been focusing on who will replace her – but now it’s time to look at what stars will be on the show.

Last year had saw a stellar line-up, including Erin McGregor, Bernard O’Shea and Jake Carter and now we’ve put together our wish list for the next season.

Take a look:

Daithi O’Se

First up we would love nothing more than to see Rose of Tralee host Daithi O’Se take to the dance floor.

The Kerry man will be busy filming the Today show for RTE in Cork, but we’re sure he could find a way to fit some dance practice in.

He’s the perfect showman and he knows how to work live television, so we’re holding out hope for him.

Jennifer Zamparelli

She’s been away on maternity leave the past few months but Jen is coming back to RTE with a bang – and what better way then to enter via the dance floor.

The much-loved presenter would be a perfect fit for the show, bringing her sense of humour to the award-winning series.

With Bridget and Eamon a huge success, why not add another string to her bow?

James Patrice

He currently hosts the backstage online shows for Dancing With The Stars – but now we think it’s time James was centre stage.

The presenter already won the hearts of the nation when he starred on Celebrity Operation Transformation so why not transform to the dance floor?

He already competed in Battle of The Stars for the Irish Cancer Society this year, so he knows what it takes.

Una Healy

She’s newly single and just moved back to Ireland – so now seems like the perfect time for Una Healy to throw herself into something new.

The former Saturdays singer already knows the DWTS team well, as the same producers worked on The Voice of Ireland when she was a judge.

After splitting from rugby star Ben Foden this summer, Una has undergone a stunning transformation and she already looks perfectly glam for the promo shoots.

Bernard Brogan

He’s been melting hearts all over the country since he started sharing photos with his darling twins – and even though he’s a new dad we think this is the perfect season for the GAA star to compete.

The sports star is currently celebrating Dublin’s fourth All-Ireland win, so why not keep the celebrations going by starting a completely new venture?

He’s already proved that he’s good on his feet on the pitch, so it should be an easy move to the dance floor.

Holly Carpenter

Former Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter should be a shoe in for Dancing With The Stars this season.

Not only has she represented Ireland at Miss World, but she’s already competed on reality TV – previously starring in Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model as well as TV3’s Celebrity Masterchef.

The brunette is already used to a glamorous lifestyle so she would look right at home in those glittery costumes.

Suzanne Jackson

We’ve heard she’s definitely been approached already, and now we think this should be the season Suzanne Jackson joins the show.

She is the most well-known influencer in the country, and has gone from blogger to businesswoman in the last two years.

If she can use the same determination from from her business life into dancing, then we think she could really win the whole thing.

Bressie

He’s just returned to the music scene with his band The Blizzards, but now we could see Bressie on the dancing scene too.

The former judge on The Voice already knows the producers behind the show, and his sports background means he has serious stamina.

We’ve never seen the hitmaker dance before, but if his stage presence is anything to go by, he should be knocking our socks off.

Jenny Dixon

We are dying to get a Fair City actor on Dancing With The Stars, so we’ve picked the most glam of them all – Jenny Dixon.

The actress has done everything from modelling to starring in movies, and she would be a perfect fit for the show.

She used to spend her summers at some very lavish parties at the Playboy Mansion, and we’re sure she used to dance the night away there too.

Rosanna Davison

Speaking of glamour – Rosanna Davison is one of our top picks for this year.

The former Miss World succeeds at everything she puts her name too, so why not put her name to becoming the next dancing queen?

The top model would be a sensational addition to the lineup, and don’t we all want to see her dance to Lady In Red?

Celia Holman Lee

Last, but certainly not least, who would look more stylish on the DWTS dance floor than Celia Holman Lee?

The Limerick star oozes elegance and class, and that’s exactly what the judges love on the RTE show.

The former model knows how to strut her stuff on the catwalk so learning the perfect moves for the dance floor shouldn’t be too hard.
