Greg O’Shea has opened up about his break up from fellow Love Island winner Amber Gill.
The rugby pro told RTE Radio One at today’s National Ploughing Championships that he ‘knows the truth’ about what happened between them.
“Amber’s doing great stuff over in the UK,” he began.
“I can be happy with myself that I know the truth and I know what’s happened.”
“I’m not going to badmouth her, she’s got great stuff going on, and I can be happy with myself, my friends and family knowing what actually happened,” he said.
“She can say whatever she wants, but I wish her the absolute best of luck she’s a great woman.”
The couple parted ways earlier this month, with Greg denying that he broke up with the star via text despite Amber’s insistence that he did.
Basically all I wanted was a bit of effort from him to come to London or Newcastle to see me. I said I’m going to have to give up if you don’t put the effort in,” she previously told Loose Women.
“And he said ‘okay bye’. I was expecting it to be a bit different.”
