Big-hearted TV star Graham Norton last night raised thousands for charity – by hosting a table quiz in his adopted Cork home.
The BBC presenter – who calls his village Ahakista his “dream home” – agrees to host the quiz to thank locals for respecting his privacy.
He regularly spends a number of months in the Cork area while on a break from his presenting gigs in a bid to unwind and de-stress.
And each year, Graham happily hosts the quiz – which is the highlight of the Aloha Ahakista Regatta festival.

Tickets for the event sold out in less than 10 minutes, and organisers were begged for entry by fans from all over the UK.
Some even queued overnight to get their hands on a ticket, which comes as he gets set to release his new memoir.
The ex-Father Ted star is launching The Life and Loves of a He-Devil on October 23.
It is expected to talk about his split last year from Trevor Patterson after two years together.
