Grace Mongey announces social media break following son’s birth

Top Irish blogger Grace Mongey, otherwise known as Faces By Grace, is taking a break from the internet to focus on her newborn.

The influencer welcomed her second child, a son named Hayden James, last weekend.

She documented the majority of her pregnancy online, and shared her labour and birth stories on social media, but the mum is now taking a step back from her online work.

Taking to her Instagram stories, she said: “I’m just coming on to say that I’m gonna take some time offline.”

“I decided at the end of my pregnancy that when I had him, the baby, that I wanted to just take time out and just really sit in my pajamas.”

“I’m in pregnancy pajamas, full on bump still there,” she laughed.

“I just wanted to sit in my pajamas or lie in bed, feed my new baby, and not worry about posting stuff. I’m not going to be glam any time soon or going to fancy events any time soon.”

“Just to enjoy our family of four now that I’m the mother of two kids, which is insane, and just really enjoy it an indulge in him, and do absolutely nothing.”

The mum clarified that the break is not due to her feeling down or anxious, she just wants to take the time to spend time with Hayden and Sienna.

She also revealed that she was not struggling with any baby blues, and that everything is going well.

Grace told fans she would be back when she felt ready, and signed off with a sweet snap of baby Hayden.
