Gavin James warns fans about FAKE account pretending to be him

The singer isn't the first celeb to warn fans about scam artists

Gavin James has warned his followers about a fake Facebook account impersonating him.

The 27-year-old took to Twitter to inform his followers about the account that ‘belongs to “Mr” or “Ms” Fakey McFakerson.

Despite his fake name pun, the singer urged his fans to be aware of the scam artist, he tweeted: “all jokes aside this account has been asking people for money..”

“Just be very careful if anyone on any socials with my name adds you or messages you..check for the verified blue tick thingy on my accounts.”

The Irish singer has officially announced Irish and European dates for his upcoming tour, and when he recently spoke to Goss.iehe hinted that a world tour is set to be announced very soon.

He said: “There’s going to be a big tour next year, it’s going to be announced soon enough. It’s going to be everywhere, we’re going to try to hit all the places that you can go more or less by the end of next year.”
