Game of Thrones fans have spotted a major spoiler in footage from the show’s set in Northern Ireland.
In a video shot close to the set, The Stark’s family home Winterfell appeared to be burning to the ground as the castle is engulfed in flames.
Production on the eighth and final season has been underway for some time now, and it’s set to air for the final time on HBO in 2019.
The clip has been posted on Twitter and Facebook.

Other pictures posted on Twitter have also revealed a big battle scene.
Fans are waiting patiently for the final series, and are anxious to see how the show will end – as the show has broken away from George R.R. Martin’s books, on which the series is based.
The author has already penned five books in the Game of Thrones series, but fans have been waiting seven years for his next book, The Winds of Winter.

He told fan site Watchers on the Wall, “It was heartbreaking and the end of an era…
“Everybody has to wait just like everybody else – family, friends. We live in a world of spoilers and we keep it quiet. We’re really good at this point.”
