Monday night saw the final episode of the Brendan Grace: Thanks For The Memories air on RTE One.
The poignant docu-series detailed the life of the beloved Irish actor and comedian, and his last project working with the Forget-Me-Nots, an inclusive choir group for people with Dementia and their families.
Brendan began filming his work with the choir at the beginning of the year, before being diagnosed with cancer.

He lost his battle with the illness in July.
“Hiya folks, this is Brendan Grace here,” he said in the first episode of the series.
“Not as well as I usually am, but I set out to do a documentary, and I wanted to dedicate it to Alzheimer’s/dementia. And I’m glad we’re going ahead with it, even though I’m not well.”
Really emotional final episode of “Thanks for the memories.” I think we have all seen a different side of Brendan Grace, it has provided a wonderful insight into the life and final months of one of Ireland`s greatest entertainers. Well done to all involved. #brendangrace

What a beautiful series of programmes on RTE1 about #brendangrace and the Forget Me Nots choir. I’ve been bawling for 3 Monday nights straight. What a wonderful man and what a lovely family. ❤️

A huge thanks to the family of the legendary Brendan Grace for sharing the documentary “Thanks for the Memories” with us. Heartbreaking that he never got to be part of the show. He would have been so proud of the Forget Me Not choir and of his family. What a wonderful celebration
