Yvonne Connolly has revealed that she’s turned down the chance to appear on RTÉ’s Dancing with the Stars multiple times.
Speaking to Goss.ie, the TV presenter admitted that she’s been tempted to take part, but decided to turn it down, not once, but twice.
She said: “Oh, I’m a massive, massive fan of that show, I watch it every year. I really wanted to do it the first year, last year too.”
However, Yvonne revealed she is too busy for this series, “This year, I’m not sure if I’d have the time.”
“I now have a horse, and if I’m not working and if I’m not with the kids, I’m with my horse. I just don’t know if I’d have the time this year, but I will certainly watch it,” she explained.
On the topic of TV, the former model opened up about her career prospects.
Yvonne is no stranger to presenting, and said although she loves the “buzz” of TV, she’d like to venture into radio presenting.
“I’d love to do some radio too, so yeah anything like that I always, I always love an opportunity,” she said.
Goss.ie spoke to Yvonne at The Connected Restaurant with Three and Samsung, where she had ‘Christmas dinner’ with her family.
She gushed, “This morning I had breakfast with my son, who in actual fact is in Sydney 17,000 km away.”
The mother-of-three said the technology was “mind-blowing”, and that the dinner was ideal, “My girls won’t be here at Christmas time, Jack won’t be here, so it was Christmas day for us. It was a pleasure, it was a joy.”
