EXCLUSIVE! Vogue Williams wants to keep love life private after being ‘burnt’ in the past

Vogue Williams has revealed why she wants to keep her love life private, after her high-profile relationship with ex-husband Brian McFadden.

The TV personality spoke to Goss.ie at the launch of the Regatta Great Outdoors Spring/Summer Collection soon after she appeared to ‘confirm’ her rumoured romance with Spencer Matthews on ITV’s Lorraine by saying that there was “maybe a little bit of truth in the matter,” when asked whether romance had blossomed between them.

The pair grew close while training for Channel 4’s The Jump, however, Vogue has now insisted that she didn’t confirm any romance between the pair.

“No I didn’t confirm anything,” she laughed. “I’m really close with Spencer, but I think anything romantically with me now is going to be a bit more on the private side,” she told Goss.ie.

Vogue now wants to keep the details of her love life strictly private, after she was “burnt” in the past due to her highly publicised relationship with her ex-husband Brian McFadden.

The Dublin model and the former Westlife star were married for three years before splitting in 2015.

“I think obviously with my last relationship, it was very out there and public, and I got burnt a little bit by that.

“I read back some quotes and I feel slightly scarlet, so I think this time around I just want to keep everything a bit quiet whenever I meet somebody,” she revealed.

However, Vogue admitted that she was “delighted” for Spencer, who was crowned the winner of The Jump over the weekend, insisting that he was the worthy winner.

“I think Spencer deserved to win. He put a lot of work in, I think he was really determined, he never missed a day of training and he really pushed himself.

“Especially in the week leading up to the final he really, really pushed himself and got his head down, so he’s delighted and I’m delighted for him,” she told Goss.ie.
