EXCLUSIVE! Spring/Summer style tips from Louise Cooney

Louise Cooney dished out some solid style advice for the warmer months ahead when we caught up with her on the Marker Hotel rooftop for the announcement of the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards nominees.

A nominee herself, for Most Stylish Online Influencer, the Limerick lass shared what styles she’s been shopping for summer.

‘Every year I love whites! I love being able to bring lots of white back in to my wardrobe.’

On that note, we’re still not over her amazing dress for the VIP Style Awards last year, created by Irish designer Eamon McGill.

‘I love pastels. I’ve seen loads of pastel suits which I’m obsessed with. Bardot is back again this year which I love. Lots of bright colours, I’ve seen loads of pop colours.’

‘So yeah, really excited to have more fun in the summer with my wardrobe.’

She’s off to California for Coachella in less than a month and gave advice to anyone who is finding it difficult to pick up summer bits before the high street has stuff stocked for sunny weather.

‘There’s not that much out at the moment so I’m just trying to be creative and use what I have and DIY a little bit.’

We couldn’t resist asking if the most dapper dog in Dublin, Cooper, was getting some summer bits himself.

‘Oh my God, of course! I’ll have to get him a pair of sun glasses. He has a better wardrobe than me!’
