EXCLUSIVE! Rosanna Davison: 'It sounds far too responsible and grown up to be someone's WIFE'

Model Rosanna Davison has admitted she finds it “strange” and too mature to be called someone’s wife.

The former Miss World walked down the aisle earlier this year to tie the knot with long-term boyfriend Wes Quirke.

But asked by Goss.ie what it’s like to be called a wife, Rosanna said: “That sounds far too responsible and grown up.”

She added: “The more I say it the more I get used to it but it’s still such a strange thing to say I find and my mum still laughs at me.”

Meanwhile, Rosanna revealed at the launch of The Bridge 1859 that she feels a lot closer to husband Wes since tying the knot.

She said: “Nothing massively changes but things do as well. You feel closer together and you kind of make more of an effort to really get on.”

Meanwhile the Dublin model has been working in Germany at Oktoberfest.

“Germany was great fun. I was working at two different Oktoberfests. The first thing was for a shop called Breuninger, which is like Brown Thomas I suppose in Stuttgart,” she said.

“Then the second one was for a hair company and say they take an area of a tent and they bring people along. It’s like a media kind of event.

“I was very good I left at about 9:30 both night and got home because Oktoberfest just goes mental.

“Like even when I was leaving of course the photographers want you to be up on the benches dancing and holding beer and I was like ‘come on really?”

“I can’t even lift up some of the beer because they were so heavy. But yeah it does go absolutely mental.”
