Jake Carter and Karen Byrne may have been dance partners in front of the camera on Dancing With The Stars but they have become best friends away from the RTÉ show.
The pair scrubbed up and strutted down the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards red carpet this weekend where we caught up with them before.
They were looking forward to a one-month reunion as many of the fellow stars and dancers from the show were also in attendance including Ksenia Zsikhotska, Erin McGregor, Allanah Beirne, Maia Dunphy to name a few.
Jake said, “It’ crazy to think it’s just over a month now [since the show finished], it feels like to me it’s been a year to be honest because that much has happened in the last month!”
He’s been busy touring with Nathan Carter and they joked about Karen coming on tour with her dance students acting as back up dancers as he laments the seires, “I missing it more than ever.”
Karen is seriously busy teaching her dance school and said, “the enquiries coming in are just mental so it’s great but I’m definitely looking forward to starting the show again.”
