We chatted to Holly Carpenter after she was the second celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars.
The former Miss Ireland performed the foxtrot with professional dancer partner, Trent Whiddon, for tonight’s movie theme but she was unfortunately voted out of the competition.
The 27-year-old told us that she was surprised at the elimination results and added: “I’m so sad. I actually wasn’t expecting it.”
“I think the judges have been, not harsh on me, but they’ve probably raised the bar for me maybe. I don’t know, I’ve never got over a six in even my salsa or anything. So I think they have always expected a lot and I’ve always tried to deliver.”
Holly admitted that she “had moments of guilt” while training for the competition, as she wasn’t able to focus on her brand, Love Lift, and told us: “That’s something I’m so lucky to have because I can put my energy right back into that. I don’t want to fall into a hole of feeling sorry for myself now. It’s happened, I just have to get over it.”
