Deirdre O’Kane has admitted that she was “scared” of being booted off Dancing With The Stars last night, after receiving a “low score” of 20.
Bernard O’Shea was the fourth celebrity to be eliminated from DWTS over the weekend, and speaking to Goss.ie backstage, Deirdre revealed that she thought it might be her in the bottom two.
“I was very scared of that score tonight, it was low score of 20,” she said.
Speaking about the DWTS judges, Deirdre added, “They were very tough tonight, I need to call on the Drogheda people to vote for me, they need to rise up for me.”
Dance partner John went on to say, “Deirdre’s emotions tonight were a 10 and the dancing was a 9 for me. We will listen to what the Judges said and we will bring hopefully a better performance next week.”
Deirdre also spoke about preparing to perform alongside a huge list of Irish comedians on the 17th of March in aid of Comic Relief.
“For the St Patricks gig I have done all of the graft and hard work. It’s an incredible line up to support the homeless, please buy tickets.
“At least it will anchor me in news that is important, it’s a little reminder of what’s happening outside the bubble which sometimes is no harm.”
When asked is there anything she can’t do, Deirdre replied, “Stay out of the bottom three can I do that?”
