Ed Sheean has made Vicky Phelan’s daughter’s dreams come true this weekend.
Vicky Phelan’s name became a household one under tragic but noble circumstances when she brought to light corruption within the Cervical Check screening programme that led to the deaths of seventeen women.
She’s currently battling her own terminal case of cervical cancer and while there’s nothing the women of Ireland can do to repay the debt we owe her for going public with her story and getting the system overhauled, a few strings have been pulled to make her daughter’s dreams come true as a minute expression of gratitude
