TV chef Donal Skehan has revealed he was hospitalised for exhaustion.
The busy Dubliner was forced to take time out of his hectic schedule last year after he burned himself out.
“I was in Vietnam last year and I had to go to hospital and I had just reached exhaustion,” he said.

“Then I came home and did a 20-day tour, so it was just crazy.”
Despite his success, the TV star revealed that he found it difficult to enjoy his work with such a busy schedule.
“I was at a stage where I wasn’t enjoying the food or getting to cook,” he divulged.

With his new cookbook, Fresh, out now, the 29-year-old admitted he can finally spend some quality time with his wife Sofie, who he married in June.
“To be honest, we haven’t had as much time out, I don’t know if we had the honeymoon period or the chance to just settle down – but we will now,” he said.
