Top TV chef Donal Skehan has admitted he won’t be doing any cooking on his wedding day.
The RTE star is set to marry his Swedish fiancee Sofie Larsson this month and the Howth native revealed he won’t be going near the kitchen when he ties the knot.
“I won’t be going near the food for my wedding – we have very good friends who have a restaurant in Drogheda called the Eastern Seaboard and they’re going to be looking after it for us,” he said.

“I’ll be just back from filming around Europe so I’m looking forward to completely relaxing and leaving that end of things in their capable hands,
“What we’ve gone for with the food is a very relaxed, family-style dinner rather then silver service,” he told the RTE Guide.
Meanwhile in the weeks before his wedding – Donal has admitted he will be filming a new series for the Food Network.
“I’ve just signed a two series deal – the first series will see us going to 12 European cities,” he revealed.
