Doireann Garrihy reveals first date where she had to ‘milk 150 cows’

Doireann Garrihy has revealed her best first date ever involved milking “150 cows”.

The radio presenter is now dating Joe Melody, a Clare native who she debuted at Electric Picnic, and although she didn’t say who the date was with – Joe does have a farming background.

Answering questions from followers on her Instagram stories for a Jacob Biscuits collaboration, Doireann revealed her best first date.

“I went on a first date where I milked 150 cows in a lovely milking parlour,” she admitted.

“It was a great way to spend an afternoon in June,” she laughed.
