Doireann Garrihy has responded to voice notes that went viral over the last week about her relationship with boyfriend Joe Melody.
Mutliple WhatsApp voice notes had been shared on social media of an unnamed woman claiming she had spoken to Joe’s ex, who allegedly said was seeing Joe when he first met Doireann.
A girl called Jane was said to be dating the farmer at the time, with the voice notes going on to claim Joe became distant from his girlfriend and started seeing Doireann behind her back.
While many believed the messages were false, Doireann decided to put the record straight herself.
The TV presenter shared an email from the girl in question Jane, saying she was never romantically involved with Joe.
Doireann thanked those who never “questioned” her and Joe’s integrity.
Doireann’s next snap promoted the first episode of the new Podge and Rodge show, airing next monday.
