Doireann Garrihy has responded to reports that she’s set to replace Ruth O’Neill on TV3’s Xposé.
The Spin 1038 reporter, who has gained a huge following online thanks to her hilarious impressions of Irish bloggers, has admitted that she “wouldn’t rule out” a role on the entertainment show.
The 24-year-old was recently linked to the job alongside Daniella Moyles, after Ruth officially left TV3 last week.
“It’s not something I’ve thought about at all. I wouldn’t rule anything out,” Doireann told the Herald.

“At the moment I’m dipping my toe in the water with everything. I don’t want to rule anything out. I don’t want to pigeon-hole myself as known for just one thing.”
The Dubliner, who is the sister of Fair City actress and Dancing With The Stars finalist Aoibhin Garrihy, has become a regular on TV3’s Six O’Clock Show in recent weeks.
And now, the brunette is working a new project – developing a new comedy series for the RTÉ player.
“I’m working away on a comedy pilot, which is very exciting,” she said. “It’s still early days. I think the plan is for it to be on the player for maybe September.
“I’m still coming up with ideas. It’s just me for now, I might have someone else in it. It’s exciting,” she added.
