It’s official – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will visit Ireland for two days next month.

After months of speculation, it’s been confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will jet into Dublin on July 10.

The royal couple will carry out their first official engagement here since they tied the knot last month.

The couple’s ‘mini-moon’ is set to last just one night though, as they’re scheduled to leave Dublin the next day on July 11th.

During their trip to Dublin, Meghan and Harry are expected to visit Trinity College, and will meet Michael D. Higgins at Aras an Uachtaráin.

A source told the Irish Independent, “The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to learning more about Ireland’s history and experiencing its rich culture, as well as meeting the people who are shaping the country’s future.”

According to reports, the pair will also visit the iconic Guinness Storehouse.

The news of their visit comes after Prince Charles and his wife Camila visited Cork and Kerry last week.
