Nicola Coughlan has hit back at the UK Mirror – after they claimed the dress she wore to the BAFTA TV awards was “unflattering”.
The Derry Girls star joined her co-stars on the glitzy red carpet, as the much-loved TV series was up for Best Comedy TV Show.
Wearing a figure-hugging pink satin number, the blonde stunned on the night, but the publication thought different.
Hey @DailyMirror ???????? do you feel proud of yourself contributing to the persistent degredation of women?
Headline should read “talented comedy actress @nicolacoughlan wears dress she likes to BAFTAs”

“The Derry Girls certainly made an impression on the red carpet but it may have not been the one that wanted (sic),” the piece read.
“Nicola Coughlan brought a welcome dash of colour to proceedings but her plan pink outfit was not the most flattering.”
The actress was quick to clap back at the comment, writing on her Twitter page: “I mean incorrect @DailyMirror I look smokin, sorry bout it.”

She continued by sharing a selfie from inside the BAFTAs, showing off her dress, and a video showing off the gown.
“If you would like receipts, I have them, in video form xxx,” she wrote.
It comes after fans slammed BAFTA for “robbing” Derry Girls of Best Comedy last night.
