Danny O’Donoghue has revealed he turned down the chance to go on a date with Cameron Diaz.
The Script frontman and the Hollywood actress both appeared on a US talk show where Cameron took a liking to the Dublin musician.

“Her assistant told me Cameron wanted my number. I had a girlfriend at the time [model Irma Mali] so I thought it might be a bit weird to hand my number out,” he admitted.
Danny has since split with Irma and according to the Sunday World, he’s “kicking himself” now at having turned down the A-list actress.
“So I said no. I would have bitten her hand off if I hadn’t been dating someone. I’m kicking myself.

The former Voice UK star hasn’t had much luck with the ladies of recent times.
With the Dubliner revealing he couldn’t get a single date from Tinder.
