Week Six of RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars see the celebs being paired with a new pro-dancer for one week only.
There will be NO ELIMINATION this week, so the Irish stars are confident in the fact they have secured their place, as the competition really heats up at the halfway point.
Erin McGregor has been paired with John Nolan. Before they met for the first rehearsal Erin didn’t know who her new partner would be.
Speaking on the show, she compared the experience to a “Tinder Date”. Her usual Pro partner Ryan McShane is partnered with the superb Anna Geary.
Marty Morrissey has been matched with Rob Heffernan’s usual partner Emily Barker, as Rob leads Marty’s usual partner Ksenia into Week 6. Marty said the Switch-Up has given him a “renewed energy”.
Bernard O’Shea takes the hand of Karen Byrne, Jake Carter’s weekly partner. Meanwhile, Jake is paired with Bernard’s Valeria.
The pressure is on as all of the celebrities perform for the first time with different professional partners and the judges and public vote will be carried over to week 7, when the elimination continues.
The dark horse of the competition Deirdre O’Kane was paired with Vitali, the leaderboard topping partner of Alannah Beirne. Meanwhile, Alannah was paired with her close competitor’s partner Kai Widdrington.
