Dáithí Ó Sé has revealed he would love to host the Late Late Show.
The Kerry native has been hosting the Rose of Tralee for seven years now, and wants to follow in previous host Ryan Tubridy’s foot steps.
“There is no presenter in Ireland that wouldn’t take the Late Late if it was offered to him,” he told the RTE Guide.

“We will get the headlines, ‘Daithi O’Sé wants the Late Late!’ But everyone wants it.”
“I’ll do the Rose of Tralee for as long as I’m allowed, I want to make it my own so no one can slip in.”
While the Rose of Tralee is Dáithí’s big annual gig, the presenter also co-hosts the Today show in Cork from September to May.
