Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid are set to wed in Northern Ireland this week, according to reports.
It’s rumoured that the pair will say ‘I do’ at Ardmore Parish outside Derry on Friday (June 15), which is also Courteney’s 54th birthday.
The news has sparked huge excitement amongst locals, and local priest Fr Neil Farren fuelled rumours by keeping coy when he was questioned by a reporter.
Speaking to The Sun, the priest cryptically said that he would “have to look further into my diary” when asked if his parish has any involvement in the upcoming wedding.
Locals will be keeping their eyes peeled for Courteney and Johnny’s a-list guests – including Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston, who is set to star as maid of honour on the big day.
Courteney, 53, and Jennifer, 49, have been close friends for over two decades after meeting on the set of Friends.
In fact, Courtney acted as Jennifer’s maid of honour when she married her ex-husband Justin Theroux in 2015.
Back in March, Closer magazine reported that the pair will hold two wedding receptions – one in Northern Ireland, and a fancier affair in Malibu, California – where Courteney lives.
An insider said at the time, “They’ve decided to have a small ceremony in Ireland at the local church near Johnny’s childhood home followed by a big party back in LA at Courteney’s Malibu home on the beach.”
Sources have also said that Courteney’s 13-year-old daughter Coco, who she had with her ex-husband David Arquette, will act as bridesmaid on the day.
The American actress was introduced to Snow Patrol frontman Johnny by their mutual friend Ed Sheeran back in 2013, and the singer is expecting to perform at their wedding.
Courteney and Johnny announced their engagement back in 2015, however, the couple famously split for a few months, before reuniting in 2016.
As for what she’ll wear on both of her big days – sources say Courteney is having dresses and outfits designed by Jenny Packham, Vera Wang, and Zuhair Murad.
