Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent has denied that she has been seeing Niall Horan.
The soap actress was linked to the One Direction star last month, after he openly said he fancied her.
Rumours then surfaced that the pair were “secretly texting” but Brooke has said the pair are just good friends, and have been for years.
“Niall has been my friend since he started on The X Factor but because I’m single and he said he fancies me it’s assumed we’ll get together.”
“I’ve been to One Direction concerts loads of time, because he’s a mate. But nothing has happened between us,” she explained.
However Brooke did said she wants her next boyfriend to be a close friend, hinting that Niall could be the one.
“The next guy I like will probably be someone I already know, maybe a mate,” she told the Sun.
“Because it’s easier that way and I don’t have to do the getting to know you thing.”
