UFC boss: 'Conor McGregor will fight again'

Conor McGregor shocked the world when he tweeted his shock retirement but UFC boss Dana White has insisted he will fight again.

The sports boss was also quick to shut down claims the Dubliner had pulled out of his rematch with Nate Diaz following a row over money.

“Conor needs to clear up this whole retirement thing – and he needs to do it fast,” Dana said on US radio.

When asked whether the 27-year-old would be seen in the octagon again, Dana simply said: “I do.”

The news comes after Dana admitted the fighter was pulled from UFC200 after he refused to take part in the event’s publicity.

Meanwhile, the Notorious’ father Tony broke his silence over his son’s announcement.
