Conor McGregor signs new EIGHT fight deal with UFC – and his whiskey will be a key sponsor

The UFC have confirmed that Conor McGregor is set to return for even more fights – as he’s just signed a new eight-fight deal.

The world champion returned to centre stage on Thursday, as he came face to face with Khabib Nurmagomedov at their press conference in New York City.

And after the highly entertaining conference (see highlights HERE), UFC boss Dana White confirmed Conor has signed a new deal, which will also see his whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve, as a key sponsor.

Dana wouldn’t go in to too much detail but said the deal will make serious cash for Conor, especially since he has a share in the pay-per-view sales.

“It’s not hard to do a deal with Conor McGregor because we know what he’s worth,” Dana told ESPN.

The deal includes Conor’s whiskey brand as a sponsor in every UFC event the Dubliner fights in.

“You bet your bollocks it is,” McGregor said, when asked if the logo of his product will have a presence in the octagon.

“On the canvas. On the canvas. Like [Nurmagomedev’s] blood will be on the canvas.”

Conor will officially make his UFC return on October 6th in Las Vegas.
