Conor McGregor set to rake in €100 million

Conor McGregor is set to make a massive €100 million from his win against José Aldo when he became the UFC Featherweight Champion, according to the UFC chairman and CEO.

The UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta told ESPN that Conor could become the first UFC fighter ever to earn $100 million.

If this prediction is true, that means the Dubliner will rake in a ridiculous $622,000 per second for his incredible 13- second knockout of José Aldo in the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas at the weekend.

Conor has been vocal about expecting a “nine-figure contract” in the past – and now it seems he’ll be getting what he wished for.

“I’m waiting on my next multi, nine-figure contract, which is en route. I just let everyone up there know, I let the bosses know and everybody there know what I bring and my worth.

“I’m still here the highest-paid. Let’s compare contracts. Because the contract that I’m talking now is nine figures. Nobody in the game has talked nine figures. That’s $100 million plus,” he told the MMA Hour.

The news comes as it was announced yesterday that Dublin will host a Civic Ceremony in January to mark Conor McGregor’s triumphant win against José Aldo.
