Conor McGregor responds to Floyd Mayweather’s training offer: ‘F*** the Mayweathers’

It looked like Floyd Mayweather wanted peace with Conor McGregor just yesterday – but the Dublin fighter was having none of it.

Conor, 30, is currently training for the most highly anticipated fight in UFC history, and Mayweather, who fought Conor last year, offered him his gym to train in.

In an interview with TMZ, Mayweather had praised the UFC champion saying: “Conor McGregor’s not gonna back down from anyone, he’s not scared, he’s a warrior.”

He then offered Conor training at his Las Vegas gym, before the fight on October 6th.

“I know that UFC got a training facility but we’d like for him to work out at the Mayweather Boxing Club,” he added.

But it seems Conor doesn’t let things lie, and took to Twitter to make it very clear that there is no peace between them.

“F*** the Mayweathers, except Senior and Roger,” he wrote. “There is no peace here kid. Step up or step down.”

Conor then took to Instagram to share photos of their hugely publicised fight this time last year, where the MMA star went 10 rounds with the champion boxer.

1 year ago what a trip. Outside trip.

Of course Mayweather hopped back on social media to take a dig at the UFC star himself.

Sharing a photo of the fight on his own Instagram page, Floyd said: “Easiest 9 figures I ever made! All work is what?”.
