He’s had worldwide fame for the last three years in particular, but now it’s official, Conor McGregor is one of the most famous athletes in the world.
The UFC champion has placed 5th in ESPN’s official ‘World Fame 100′ list.
The Notorious ranked 18th place last year but jumped to 5th in the 2019 list.
Number one on the list is Cristiano Ronaldo, with LeBron James, Lionel Messi and Neymar just ahead of Conor.
The site says the Dublin star has endorsements to the value of $15 million with a social media following of 45.1 million.
The last 12 months has seen Conor’s star rise again, not only launching his whiskey brand Proper No. Twelve, but also releasing his debut clothing line August McGregor.
