Conor McGregor gets community service and must complete ‘anger management programme’ in New York case

Conor McGregor has been ordered to complete 5 days of community service, and must partake in an anger managemnt programme.

The UFC star jetted to New York where he was back in court, to face felony charges related to a bus attack back in April.

Judge Raymond Rodriguez ordered the Dublin fighter to complete 5 days of community service, and said he must take part in an anger management programme.

Conor and fellow fighter Cian Cowley both pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. The guilty plea was accepted by the judge. The pair both have been given conditional discharge if they keep the peace for one year.

McGregor also has to pay restitution, for the damage done to the bus in question.

This means that Conor will now have no criminal record.

Conor’s anger management programme will be 1-3 days long.

There had been multiple reports that Conor’s lawyers had reached a plea deal, to make sure he wouldn’t have his US visa was revoked.

However, his legal team denied the claims just last week.

As well as being joined by his legal counsel, Conor was joined by his personal tailor and business partner David August as well as his manager Audie Attar.

Now that Conor’s legal battle is finally over, he can continue to focus on his UFC return.

The MMA fighter has been hotly tipped to return to the Octagon this Autumn, to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Conor had postponed huge 30th birthday celebrations this month, until his court case was over.
