Conor McGregor ‘confident’ court case will be resolved soon

Conor McGregor isn’t phased by the result of his court appearance this week.

He appeared in court in New York on Thursday to answer to three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief. The Dubliner had been expected to try to strike a plea deal and avoid a potential seven-year prison sentence but the judge gave him another hearing date on July 26th.

The fighter had made plans with Dana White to meet up on the 18th of this month but these may be on hold now as his manager Auddie Attar has said they are “not going to focus on any future plans until we handle this matter”.

Despite that Conor doesn’t seem to be losing his cool over they case. A source close to the him told The Irish Sun, “Conor thinks it will all be over soon and he’s confident they’ll be able to sort it.”
