Conor McGregor has dubbed Katie Taylor an “inspiration” after officially becoming a Two-Weight World Champion.
The Bray native won a 10-round boxing match against Christina Linardatou in Manchester on Saturday night.
Taking to Twitter Conor, who has always shown support for the boxer, wrote: “What a fighter
@KatieTaylor 5 time world champion across 2 weight classes. Wow! #Inspiration.”

Conor was previously spotted at Katie’s dominant fight Cindy Serrano in Boston last October.
The father-of-two shared photos and video footage from the night, giving Katie advice before the fight in her changing rooms.
After winning the bout Katie had thanked the Proper No. Twelve founder for his on-going support.
Back in June Conor also publicly praised Katie when she beat Delfine Persoon.
“Congratulations Ireland’s Katie Taylor! What a battle that was from two warrior women.
“It has rematch written all over it. Rematch in Ireland! Katie’s Frazier, Delfine Persoon! Wow,” he wrote at the time.
