Colin Farrell reveals he felt ‘confined’ after not graduating from secondary school

Colin Farrell has revealed that he felt “confined” after he didn’t graduate from secondary school.

The actor opened up about not finishing school and revealed that although he wanted to get away from it, his children are the complete opposite.

“I am not very well educated. I didn’t finish secondary school. I felt confined by it. There wasn’t an individual approach to students being distinct human beings. I was a bit of a dreamer,” he told The Irish Sun.

“I wasn’t dreaming about Hollywood, but I was looking out the window and I wanted to be outside, living life,” he continued.

“There was never an outlet to let kids have an emotional life.”

Colin went on to say that things are different now and his children love school, as they “have a platform to talk about how they are feeling, what they are experiencing in their lives and to integrate home life and school life.”

“My kids like school so much more than I did. The other day, one of my sons wasn’t feeling great and I tried to keep him home from school and he was like, ‘no, can I go to school?’ And I was like ‘who the f**k are you?!’ The apple fell far from the tree that time!”
