Colin Farrell fears suffering from premature ejaculation as he ages

Colin Farrell has revealed he worries about suffering from premature ejaculation as he grows older

The Dublin actor admits he is “not sure” that there is anything good about aging – and especially hates now wearing glasses.

And the 37-year-old – who was named on Lindsay Lohan’s lovers list – now hopes he doesn’t follow up his eye issues with problems in the bedroom.

He said: “With age, I see less well, however I wear glasses and it bothers me.

“I console myself that at my age, it is better to suffer from myopia than premature ejaculation.

“Yoga [is my way of staying young]. The discipline helps me keep a balance in my head and in my body. I also hike.

“Now, not only do I take care of myself, but more importantly, I began to appreciate life.”

And Colin – who claims he was only met his true love “once” – admitted he finds it tough to stay away from his booze and drug fueled lifestyle of the past.

He said: “Today, I am serene. Although nothing is guaranteed. I would never say that it’s easy to stay sober.

“It has been eight or nine years now that I do not drink. I want good. That past absolutely does not draw me back.

“I know people who, even after many years of abstinence, are still ‘missing’. This is not my case.

“If I had stopped drinking earlier, I could have a lot of savings and avoided breaking hearts. But I am happy to have survived.”

And Colin told Gala that he wants to find a woman to spend his life with – but worries about being faithful.

He said: “I am convinced that love can last beyond death. You see, I happen to be very romantic.

“And contrary to what you might think, I believe in monogamy. I am sometimes shocked to hear that it is not natural to spend a lifetime with a single person.

“For me, this is just a way to justify not making an effort and avoid its responsibilities. I did not say that monogamy was made for me.

“I just think it is not fair to claim that fidelity is impossible or unnatural. It is certainly very difficult to live. I dream of ending up like those couples who can boast spend seventy years together.”
