Coldplay are rumoured to perform at Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll’s lavish Irish wedding next week.
The 27-year-old will finally tie the knot at Ashford Castle in Co. Mayo next weekend, and although details of the wedding have been kept strictly under wraps – sources say Chris Martin and his bandmates will jet into Ireland for the special occasion.
An insider told the Irish Sun, “They are trying to keep the big day as private as they can, even with all the A-listers invited.
“The rumour is that Coldplay are performing as they are one of Rory’s favourite bands.”

“Rory has said he’ll spare no expense on the big day and he loves the band so we’ll see.”
Rory has previously admitted to listening to Coldplay while he’s practising.
“Listening to music helps throttle back my tempo. I’m not talking about upbeat hip-hop or some Celtic metal band.
“I need something a little more mellow when I hit balls — acoustic stuff like Coldplay’s older music, Ed Sheeran, Bon Iver,” he said,
Meanwhile, 1D star Niall Horan has been confirmed for the all star guest list.
